Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy describes information associated with visits to Daily History AI and direct communications with the site. It does not govern third-party websites linked from historical events, sources, social profiles, or related resources.

Information the public website does not request

The public site currently has no account registration, comments, newsletter signup, payment system, contact form, or user-submitted AI prompt feature. It does not intentionally ask visitors to provide a name, postal address, telephone number, payment information, or profile information through the website.

Analytics, advertising, and cookies

Daily History AI does not currently configure a web analytics service, behavioral advertising pixel, or advertising network on its public pages. The site does not set its own cookies for accounts, personalization, or advertising. If these practices change, this policy should be updated before or when the new technology is introduced.

Hosting and technical logs

Like most websites, the hosting and network providers that deliver the site may automatically process technical request information. This can include an IP address, browser or device type, requested URL, referring page, timestamp, and diagnostic or security information. Such logs may be used to operate the service, prevent abuse, investigate errors, and maintain security. Their retention and handling may also be governed by the relevant provider's policies.

Search and date-selection features

The archive search, filters, and date picker operate as navigation features. Search terms may appear in a page URL or be processed in the visitor's browser. Visitors should not enter confidential or personal information into search fields.

Email communications

When you email us, we receive the address used to send the message and any information included in the message. We use it to review and respond to corrections, questions, rights requests, accessibility feedback, or other inquiries. Email is also processed by the providers used to transmit and host the message. Please do not send sensitive personal information that is not necessary for the request.

External websites

The site links to archives, publishers, historical institutions, portfolio websites, and social media services. Those services may collect data or use cookies under their own policies. A link does not transfer this Privacy Policy to the external website.

Children's privacy

The site provides general educational content and does not knowingly collect personal information from children through accounts, comments, or forms. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent personal information by email may contact us to request review or deletion where appropriate.
